Continental Investment Partners: The founding firm behind VITA Continental

Continental Investment Partners is an independent sponsor of private equity and real estate investments, founded in 2013 and based in Lugano, Switzerland, with over ten years of active investment experience across Europe.

VITA Continental is the dedicated healthcare investment platform born from Continental Investment Partners’ private equity activity, created as a focused vehicle to pursue the firm’s growing conviction in the European medical device sector, applying the same model and the same standards that have defined Continental Investment Partners since its founding.

The CONTINENTAL INVESTMENT PARTNERS Model

A Flexible, Performance-Oriented Approach

Continental Investment Partners operates as an independent sponsor, investing on a deal-by-deal basis rather than through a traditional closed-end fund. This model allows the firm to select only the best opportunities, reducing risk and increasing return potential. Investors can evaluate each transaction individually, with full visibility before any commitment is made.

This structure promotes greater alignment between the interests of the general partner and those of investors, as compensation is directly tied to the results achieved on each investment. The outcome is a shorter investment horizon, greater transparency, and a sharper focus on conviction over volume.

Private Equity

Supporting Entrepreneurs and Top Managers

Continental Investment Partners’ private equity activity focuses on companies with an enterprise value of up to €100 million. The firm supports entrepreneurs and top managers in structuring and executing buyout and growth capital transactions, providing access to resources and expertise that are often not available through traditional financing, and co-creating value to help businesses achieve higher levels of scale and profitability.

The firm invests in both private and publicly listed companies, taking majority or minority stakes, independently or alongside other funds and institutional investors. Transactions include management buyouts, growth capital, and active investments in public companies.

Real Estate

Prime Residential and Tourist Real Estate

In the real estate sector, Continental Investment Partners actively participates in project development, backing construction and restructuring operations in prime residential and tourist centres across Europe, supported by demographic trends. The firm participates with equity tickets of up to €15 million, in partnership with real estate sponsors, bringing structuring, financing, and operational expertise to each project.
